This is Eric Legrand. During the 2010 season playing for Rutgers Football, he made an amazing stop on a kickoff return, unfortunately resulting in him becoming paralyzed from the neck down. He is currently going through intense rehab and recently has been making some great progress. The dude’s determination and drive to get better and overcome the odds against him have been an inspiration to us, and to many other people that have heard his story.
Tomorrow we are helping run an event (featuring Funkmaster Flex, Vinnie Caruana, The Ugly Club, Chocolate Bread and other great acts) in his honor to help his family with costs and renovations to his home. If you are not in the area, you can still help out by spreading the word about his amazing story and even donating to the fund that has been started in his name.

On July 23rd, I am hosting an event called 52 FEST, in Woodbridge New Jersey, to benefit Eric Legrand, a young player for Rutgers who was paralyzed during the 2010 season.
The benefit will feature an array of musical talents including : FunkMaster Flex, Vinnie Caruana (the Movie Life/I Am the Avalanche), Socratic, The Ugly Club, Chocolate Bread, and many more. Proceeds will go towards renovations to Eric’s house including a handicapped ramp, bathroom, and an additional room.
We will also be having raffles, with prizes such as a Boston Celtics 2010-2011 Autographed Team Basketball, a Grant Hill Autographed Photograph, a Lamarcus Aldridge Autographed Bobblehead Doll, Live Nation VIP Concert Tickets, Mets Tickets w/ a day at Batting Practice with the team, Red Bulls Tickets and much more.

So after months of concepting, designing and production, the 2011 Formatic Lookbook’s are finally in my hands. And I must say, they came out pretty sexy.
These were created with the intentions of them assisting us in setting up meetings with more retailers across the world that might be interested in carrying Formatic at their location.
